This is from the early the first day of the August workshop. Enjoy!

(This is a smaller video, more appropriate if you have a modem connection. Feel free to leave feedback below about how it works for you.)

This is an early experiment to see how well video works for people. This video is optimized for a modem connection, but it still won’t just play continuously without stopping.

Depending on your system, you may be able to start the video, then pause it. The video should continue to download (notice the slight color change on the progress bar), and then you can start it again later (maybe when the pale blue on the bar is about half way?) and watch it without interruption or stuttering.

However, this seems not to be the case on all systems, so you may have to just let it play through once. After that, the video should already be buffered on you computer, so subsequent plays should work smoothly.

Sorry, but the laws of physics create real limits to video over a modem. Can’t really make it much smaller or you would not be able to see it. If you have ideas, please leave a comment. We want this site to work for YOU!

The modem video works very nicely. Thank you for offering something for the Luddites with dial-up!

I don’t know Ernie personally but his name is often mentioned to me by one of his friends, Garth Alley. I have known Garth here in Australia for the past 3 years and he has made a profound impact on my life in the most beautiful way. So, in short, I feel I already know you Ernie and thank you for indirectly opening my heart and touching my life.
    With deep Graditude,
    Peter Noblet.

Hello, Peter! Sorry to have just gotten notice of your post, or I’d have replied sooner. Thank you. Yes, Garth is a wonder. You’re a blessed soul to know him. We’ve been very good for one another. One of those alliances neither of us created, yet one that touches both our lives and others – yours in this case! I hope we get to meet someday.
    Welcome!
