And this is happening to many of us already, before the body wears out, because our fellows and our poor earth need us to die in this way for something altogether new to arise. <!--more--> It isn&#8217;t a end, but an end\/beginning.  Many structures will go, fall away, collapse, inside us and outside.  It starts within, and looks a bit like death from an old habitual point of view.  But the fright of it will last only as long as the belief persists that ego is real, and that it is really in control of life (an absurd idea).  This &#8220;dying&#8221; has to happen for the new to come into human life.  This offers a new kind of hope &#8211; not the old hope for a desired future, but a kind of faith that rests in loving stillness that is one with the moment.  What happens &#8216;out there&#8217; will change (see &#8220;The Possible Life&#8221; &#8211;  http:\/\/www.erniethayer.com\/2007\/08\/09\/61\/the-possible-life\/), because the source is shifting radically from &#8220;me&#8221;, to love&#8217;s own way.
